 XviD Codec is multimedia codec for playing video. The distinctive singularity consists in that that it is possible to regulate almost all adjustments of streaming video.
Project XviD codec continues what has refused DivX — develops an open code principle.
The experienced user can control all nuances of conversion of a video stream and even to set own matrix of quantization. If it is necessary, XviD will encode introductory and final titles of a film with the raised level of quantization and in a black-and-white type, thus having spared an occasional seat. As to image quality both XviD, and DivX now are at enough high level, and essential distinctions in between aren't present. XviD provides hardly more sharpnesses in image details, but in a frame it is possible to watch artifacts is more often, and along the edges of details there is an easy trembling, especially noticeable at low bitrate.
